National Black TEEN Radio Show

Every Sunday afternoon, National Black TEEN Radio hosts an Internet radio show to dialogue about how we can better support the achievements and successes of our children.  We also discuss ways to better reach and teach today’s young generation, especially our teenage population.

Co-hosted by R. Lee Gordon of The National Black TEEN Empowerment Expo, UniTee Design and The Better Detroit Youth Movement, William Jackson (our “on-show” educator and technology expert) and produced by Scotty Reid of The Black Talk Radio Network, each episode features special guests who are involved in youth education, community or youth activism, or relevant topic, and a call-in segment.

The Black Talk Radio Network embraces the vision of Malcolm X in using media to eliminate racism and educate people.  It also works to promote media that is ethical, family friendly and has value for our children, communities, people and planet.

Airing from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., we’ll also promote the NBTEE’s live events and community-based initiatives, and highlight wonderful teenagers doing great work in their communities and / or with their talents and gifts.

If you’d like to be a special guest or show sponsor, call 734.395.3079.

Our ongoing goal is to collaborate with students and partners to create the world's largest online media network, and to offer our youth a positive media outlet in a society filled with far too many negative media influences. We can only accomplish this mission with your support.
